Grantors are increasingly emphasizing the importance of designing projects with strong potential to live beyond the grant period. This session will explore strategies for designing projects that can be sustained beyond initial grant funding.
Increasingly, there is an expectation that grant recipients will develop robust communication/dissemination plans to share their projects with colleagues. This session would address practical strategies for how museum and library professionals can leverage technology (blogs, webinars, online communities of practice, etc) to disseminate project results.
What exciting work are museums and libraries doing to engage young children with technology? What can we learn from current research on educational media that might inform our work?
